If you're looking for that fresh laundry smell, you should always use the fabric softener sheets...Whenever I use the fresh-smelling detergent, the smell never stays past about half an hour after I take the laundry out of the dryer. But if you use fabric softener sheets, you'll get that fresh smell for days. =]

I would love that smell on my towels, but on my clothes?  I'm not sure about that.  I also buy the cheapest detergent I can find.
