I have never taken one and have not had the flu.  My husband takes the shot every year and comes down with the flu every year.
Have a wonderful day!

I've never had the flu shot and have never had the flu. Regular exercise keeps your immune system ready to go.

I am not a big supporter of the flus shot or shots for shingles. I have gotten the flu shot once in the last fifteen years and got the flu the same year that I got the shot. I have had the flu four additional times during that fifteen year period. My wife has gotten the flu shot all fifteen years and had the flu nine of those fifteen years. I am typically working in a very closed environment during the day, work from home at night (and on weekends)and wash my hands frequently so my exposure to the flu virus is minimal. I also exercise frequently and eat fairly healthy meals which I think boosts my immune system. My doctor called yesterday, after a blood test, provided my results which have mirrored my results for the last twenty years and wanted to put me on cholesterol medicine. I told her I would pass for another twenty years.

I take the shot, because my son has a breathing problem so he will not get sick. If it was just me in the house I would not get it.

I have never had a flu shot, they make you feel really bad, at least that's how I see my Aunt feels when she takes them, she looks like she has the flu after taking that shot.

I don't get a Flu Shot, but I might get one this year.  I have not been sick, but I am getting older so just for health reasons.

I usually get one in October. I know some people have issues when they get one, but I have never had issues.

I've gotten my flu shot yearly for many years!  I usually get mine in October but have occasionally slipped past October and into November.

I've never gotten one before but I do know the new flu shot has two key differences from last year's.  The nasty H3N2 strain that sickened many people last year has been updated, and the influenza B virus targeted for protection in the vaccine has been changed. It's been stated that the new vaccine is performing better than last year's. Still haven't decided if I'll get one.
