How Does the "Thanked" Meter Work?

I actually like the thanked meter. I did not know it was even there until one day I looked and seen people thanked me a bunch of times. It makes someone feel good that they were appreciated for helping someone

I use it all of the time but it is out of the way if you don't look for it..glad someone asked about it

I often thank members within my post for their help. i often forget about the the direct thank you link.In this busy world it is really nice to be thanked and appreciated every once and a while. i will have to use it more often

wow, another thing I was unaware of. I will certainly make use of it as I do appreciate some of the comments that appear. Been doing this a year already and I am still finding new things

It's just to the left, see your user name? Now see everyone else's? Go down a few lines and you should see "say thank you". That phrase is clickable and will add a thank you to that person.

I couldn't see it either until today. I was messing with my settings because on the "how offers credit" page it mentioned checking to make sure you allow third party cookies. I fixed the settings and now I can see the [say thanks] under the names.
