How Often Do You Replace Your Mattress on Average?

I wouldn't wait that long to replace a mattress, after a while it will start losing its shape, and comfort feel.

lol Yeah I have had mine for close to 20. It needs to be replaced but I cannot afford to purchase one right now.

I have had my Mattress for about 18 years now. I am actually looking around right now for a new one. I have a California King size Bed and it is hard to find the kind of Mattress that I need.

I have had my mattress since the early days of my self employed years which would make the mattress about thirty years old. I had several, top of the line mattresses used for staging a very large home that I was selling and ended up moving them into my private residence after the home sold. The mattresses are California King size. I flip the mattresses every six months, have no sagging and see no need to replace them as they are as comfortable as the day I purchased them. I generally only sleep for five to six hours at a time on these mattresses so the wear and tear is probably considerably less than most beds and lends to a longer life. I replace my kid's mattresses every four years and have yet to change the mattresses in our guest room (also from the staging about thirty years ago).

I have had my mattress for 26 years, my car has 211,000 miles on it and try to earn every cent I can on these sites. You can probably say I am a little frugal

I think our last bed was 22 years old.  We finally bought a new one in 2018. I didn't really think it was worn out, but my husband did.

I have had my mattress for a number of years.  My mattress was expensive.   It's still firm because I decided to buy a mattress that would last for a number of years.

Depends on the mattress I guess, cheaper mattresses give out sooner.

We need a mattress so bad but have not been able to afford one, Ours is over 15 years old
