I really start to get antsy this time of year, because I make a lot of decorations as gifts.  We also leave town for the first week of December to travel, so I like to have the house decorated before we leave.  It avoids a lot of pressure to get it done when we get back.

It is your house. Everyone can do what ever they want to do at their own home. I have my decorations up. Quite a few people do.  My cousin has had hers up since the first of the month.

It's time! 

My neighbors across the street, put up their artificial Christmas tree yesterday -- it is so pretty to see all the lights in their front window.  I was just at Walmart this morning & people were buying up the Christmas stuff already... buy them now before they are gone.  You snooze you lose on buying new decorations.

I don't usually start until after Thanksgiving, but if other people want to enjoy the lights and music before that time then I am okay with that.  Everyone gets to enjoy things in different ways.

I agree it's ok whatever you want but I never decorate till turkey day is over and they come down after first week of January
