China didn't tell anyone about this virus that started in November or maybe even earlier....until they told W.H.O about the Wuhan virus 12/31/2019. WHO declared a "public-health emergency of international concern on JANUARY 30, 10 days AFTER the first case hit Washington state from a person from WuHan. Trump called the CDC and health experts to implement plans around that time.
January 17; The CDC began implementing public health entry screening at the 3 U.S. airports that received the most travelers from Wuhan – San Francisco, New York JFK, and Los Angeles.
January 20; Dr. Fauci announces the National Institutes of Health is already working on the development of a vaccine for the coronavirus.
January 29: the White House announced the formation of the Coronavirus Task Force to help monitor and contain the spread of the virus and provide updates to the President.
President Trump banned foreign nationals from entering the US if they had been in China within two weeks prior on January 31. Of course, TDS media called him a racist for doing it. He also declared the virus to be a [ib;oc health emergency.
