What is Gothic Rock?  I know what goth is, I just don't know what music groups are considered goth.  I'm more of a classic rock girl.

ok gothic you know is born from punk in the early 70s now like punk music theres gothic rock music the music and bands helps the gothic subculture keep going  people thinks slipknot marilyn manson is gothic but no its not music examples of gothic is

atleast you know there is a subculture. most
"gothic" followers these days wouldn't know
a bauhaus song if they heard it 

everything has been reduced down to fashion
trends, but the young generation who buy into
the false perception of commercialized CRAP would
have absolutely no idea what i'm talking about...

anyway. clearly i have issues with such things!

punk was born in the 20s when the art movement was going on and they wanted a diff style and vie and punk music was born too

emo-is an insult to the real emotive and punk genre
