Working at my computer standing up instead of sitting down
« on: July 25, 2023, 11:45:20 pm »
I recently tried working at my computer standing up instead of sitting down. I liked it. Now I alternate between sitting and standing. I always play PS games standing up. But computer games are more comfortable to play sitting down, maybe I'm not used to it yet. Have you tried working standing up and what do you think about it.

Right now I'm looking for a standing work surface I came across this amazing option at https://www.progressivedesk.com/collections/standing-desks that seems perfect for my needs. However, it's a bit out of my budget range.. Let's chat and exchange your experiences!

Some libraries have both choices-Do not stand up all the time. Do not sit down all the time. Both can affect your overall health!

I stumbled upon something curious while scrolling through a tech discussion thread. Someone mentioned a tool that lets you type away like in the movies, complete with a hacker-style screen. I couldn’t resist testing it out, so I went to https://allcolorscreen.com/hacker-typer and started typing nonsense just to see the output. It’s oddly satisfying, and it even made my roommate glance over thinking I was doing something serious. Ended up spending more time there than I’d like to admit.
