Off-Topic / Our dog has gone to doggie heaven!
« on: August 24, 2018, 03:14:32 pm »Message ID: 1234109
We had our sweet, sweet dog for 18 years and could not have asked for a better dog.  He was a member of our family and I miss him everyday.  He's been gone a little over 2 weeks now and I swear I still hear him sometimes.  I know whenever I walk into the den or the bedroom where his beds were I still look for him there.  Our youngest daughter saved him from the local pound 18 years ago this past June 8th and when she moved out she couldn't bear to take him away from me and her daddy. He was a mixed breed about the size of a Jack Russell but not near as yappy.  Our entire family grieves for him and everyone of us will always will remember him, even our grandkids.

We have an 18 year old mixed breed house dog that we dearly love.  His health has really been going downhill although his heart is still strong.  He's been whining and moaning a lot the last few days and I feel its time to put him down.  My husband  is very reluctant even though we agreed not to ever let him suffer.  He can't really stand or walk very well and his appetite has nearly gone.  Today he has not eaten anything.  My husband gets irritated when I bring up the subject but I'm not sure how much longer I can let the sweet dog gone on like he is.  Breaks my heart!  Thanks for listening.

My sister and I were going to see our other siblings for a week the week of the 4th and after we got back I decided to go ahead and take a break.  I'm back on FC now and hoping to make some more money.  What I had saved up prior to our vacation sure came in handy.  Thanks FC!

Off-Topic / Odd Problems with surveys?
« on: March 01, 2018, 04:26:32 pm »Message ID: 1200805
For the last few months when I click on a FC survey, it'll eventually tell me I unfortunately do not qualify and ask if I won't to try another FC survey.  The process of asking over and over  just keeps repeating itself and I never get a survey.  Anyone else having this issue?

Guess I've had a mental overload the last couple of months lol.  Can't seem to get organized with anything!  I had over 30 comments on the Paid to Post but let the end of the month sneak up on me so I lost out on that $3.00 twice.  But, overall I feel very positive about 2018

Off-Topic / Hurricane Harvey
« on: September 06, 2017, 01:50:27 pm »Message ID: 1166009
Hurricane Harvey has come and gone in Texas but the destruction will take years for people to get over.  We have a daughter that lives south of Beaumont and thankfully their house did not get flooded but so many of their friends' homes did.  Her entire family has been working every day trying to help those less fortunate.  First, by using their boats to help rescue in their town and the surrounding areas.  Then, by transporting people to helicopters to be flown out to Dallas and other locations.  She has kept us updated and we are so proud of all they have done and are continuing to do on a daily basis.  It will be at least another week before they can all return to school and work.  In the meantime they are still helping whoever needs it and takes people to places that are preparing hot meals.

Off-Topic / Missing my family doctor!
« on: August 08, 2017, 02:25:25 pm »Message ID: 1160193
How I miss our family doctor!  He was such a good doctor and very rarely had to send any of us to a specialist.  He knew so much, was dedicated to his profession and didn't rush us when any of us went to see him with a problem.  I guess those kind of doctors are mostly a thing of the past.  The place I go now is susposed to be like that but I never know who I'm going to see and hardly see the same person twice in a row.  Therefore, no one really knows me, knows my history and seem to care less.  I asked around and can't seem to find a good old doctor like my doctor I had for over 40 years.  Seems like most of the people I know are having the same problem.

Support / Laptop or Ipad?
« on: June 20, 2017, 04:59:55 pm »Message ID: 1149564
Sometimes my husband has the laptop tied up when I'm ready for FC.  Does anyone know if it'd be ok for me to do FC from my house on my Ipad or do I have to stick with the laptop?  thanks

Off-Topic / Moles in yard
« on: June 13, 2017, 11:52:40 am »Message ID: 1148456
Anybody have suggestions for getting rid of moles in the yard?  They are terrible in our yard!  I bought some stuff that you sprinkle on the grass, then water it and the smell is susposed to drive them away.  It may have worked for a few days but now they're worse than ever.  We have a house dog that uses the backyard so we have to be careful what we use.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
