Does it feel like muscle pain? Sometimes a visit to the chiropractor will do the trick.

A glass of wine.  Relaxes the muscles.   :-

Go see a doctor. That can also be a heart attack especially in women.

Try daily stretching (yoga) or a new mattress.  Hope this helps :)

My dad has to go to a chiropractor because of his back so I think that might help you. When he can't get in he has me jump on his back to pop it. But I don't know if you'd want to try that.

Make sure you stretch after warming up in the tub and rub out the muscles best you can, that helps sometimes for me, i have chronic back pain varying from my neck and shoulders down to my lower back. I try to mave and bend as much as possible without hurting myself and am starting to stretch more

A product called Zyflamend has been clinically proven to help with back pain, along with other inflammation in the body.  You can find it online or at a health food store.  Although it's an herbal supplement, you should consult your physician before taking to make sure you don't have any kind of potential adverse reactions or interactions with any medications/supplements you are already taking.

I agree that if you do not know WHY you have pain that you should go to your doctor immediately.
It can be a symptom of many different problems

Seconding the chiropractor.  My fiancee sees one regularly and it really helps her aches and pains.
