How about Visa Gift cards? Then they can buy anything they want.

How old are your children? It's hard to make any suggestions without knowing their ages.

depends how old they are!!! Try getting inspired on Amazon... there's so much... and once you get an idea, you can even go to the mall and shop physically (if you are not into online shopping)

Let them have gift cards, put a certain amount on them and let them know the value of a dollar, spend it on something that they need and not something they want.

I have this problem every year with kids and grandkids.  I always ask for a wish list every year, but lately, they just don't give me one until 2 weeks before Christmas, then I have to scramble to find the items.

Last year I solved it very easily. Since the one grandkid is into gaming, a gift card through Game Stop. Dauther-in-laws-to-be got gift cards to Bath and Body Words, sons got gift cards for hunting or regular department stores.

Hubby and i haven't exchanged gifts for 5 years now. I can't afford to buy his '55 Crown Vic  which is the only thing left that he really wants. He says he has everything else he ever wanted, and he can't afford what I want so we decided not to exchange gifts.

Gift cards are always a good, safe option. If they're into games, Amazon, Walmart, etc, those gift cards would be nice. Then they can just get whatever they want.

Somewhat age dependent,  they need to give you a list and if not Amazon gift Cards are great you can get almost everything thru Amazon

I asked them and if it is not to expensive I get it.  But My oldest Grand is 12 so I really don't know what to get her.

Gift cards are always a good idea but it's hard to give suggestions without knowing whether they are boys or girls and how old they are.

With the lack of knowledge of age or sex, I agree with others, Gift cards.   Who doesn't love a gift card, oh just in case anyone I know who is planning on getting me a gift for the holidays is reading this, grocery store gift cards!!!   :)

Based on their ages you could have them make their own lists of what they want...  they love to do that, I get elaborate lists with pictures of the items printed out.  lol
When I was a child I used to pick out items from catalogs & write a Christmas list for my parents

If they are older, gift cards always are good :)
