Off-Topic / Re: 3 million cases of Covid 19

I believe it is a direct result of testing so many individuals. Most show no symptoms, a few will get sick, and a very small percentage will die. It's the flu, albeit a bad one. Precautions should be taken just like we've always done in the flu season. That's IMO.

I know I am in the minority here on FC because fear has gripped so many. Have you considered that it may be a political tactic? I'm just sayin'.

Bingo. The virus is real but much of the reaction to it, I believe, is massively political. People die of the flu every year and nobody changes their routine. What do you want to bet things will mysteriously ease up in November.

I don't think anybody is really taking this seriously. It's for attention or maybe to promote an album or something I'm sure.

Actually, thanks nicky because your post got me to check out tap research surveys and I've been here for a few years. I swear I checked that out at some point but discarded it for some reason, but now it looks like a decent way to help get me to my daily 5c.

I would kind of like to get the antibody test at some point, because I was very sick in Feb and I'm curious to know if I could've had it already. But, I don't go out much anyway and if I did have covid I've thoroughly exposed the people I was going to anyway by now (family) so I'm in no rush.

It's going to be extremely hot here all week but especially the coming weekend we are supposed to get near 120.

Welcome, nicky hit all the good stuff already. All I would add is to keep in mind that offers on the video page are currently really slim pickings compared to how it's usually always been, so you may have a hard time getting your 5c minimum. I assume due to covid, all these sites have gotten very slow, I'm hoping that bounces back.

Another word about surveys - IMO, they're not a very good return on your time investment as an everyday thing. Typically you'll spend quite a bit of time starting surveys and then getting disqualified in the middle, before you find one you do qualify for. Even then, I'd say probably 1 in 8 I've taken ultimately just lead to an "error" page and there's nothing that can be done but X out the page and accept that I wasted my time. I don't usually mess with surveys unless I'm near my cashout threshold and want a boost.

I guess we buy the same kind over and over because I haven't run into that. It sounds kinda handy to be able to select a size, then again I already do that just by tearing off however much I need.

They've needed to update their SSL for a while. On some pages the site is marked secure and on some pages not. Since you already know FC it's safe to proceed anyway but I would not do that on an unfamiliar site.

Dang, I just noticed this happening. I've lost at least $3 this week. I would love to cash out and I actually have had more than enough to cash out for a while, but it's mostly in bonuses instead of offers. Very few offers have been available lately and most that I do try, don't credit. So I can't get there, instead I'm sliding backwards :(

Hard to pick but Twix are probably my favorite. Honorable mention though for Snickers which is like a meal. I recently had one of the full king size ones after only having had those little halloween squares for years and wow. That was no snack, that was lunch.

Not really! I have on the rare occasion that I'm going somewhere formal and the shirt I was planning to wear looks terrible. I can't imagine ironing being a regular step of everyday laundry.

I spent a whole afternoon putting together a new desk but I actually kind of enjoy a task like that. Most people seem to complain about it. Am I the only one?

I haven't heard any yet but there are always a few stragglers the nights before and after. It upsets our dogs.

There are always regrets when we lose someone...things left unsaid, things left undone.  But your pastor has moved on to reside peacefully and safely in the arms of his Savior.  That is our comfort.

Well said. I'm sorry for your loss and I'm sure for the great many who knew him.

It's understandable. My state is really seeing some big increases lately. All I've been seeing on the news is idiots crowding into newly reopened bars like sardines. I think they are closing some of them back down.
