Never used Craigslist, but planning to do so in the near future.

I have never used craiglist but I think you can put something in your add so that advertisers cannot contact you.

nope, we sold to actual people and when we did get some responses that we thought we fishy we responded like they were a scam. i had one guy offer me a cleaning position then told me he would give me money for the job and to pay someone else. Seriously, ur gonna tell me i have to pay someone else with the money because ur dumb  :bootyshake: isn't responsible to pay them yourself? that's when i knew it was a scam and i told them politely that i'm not paying someone else with the money that is their job and i didnt hear back from them again. good riddens, scammer. good thing i didnt get more involved in it.

I have never used Craigslist, but have given away lots of things on Freecycle.

We bought a walker for my husband off a Craigslist ad.  It was pretty easy but I think it would be rather scary to try to sell something.

I have never sold anything on craigslist, but have posted ads.  I really don't like the site.

I'm a little wary of Craigslist. I don't think I would like to try buying or selling anything there. To me, there are safer ways to buy or sell products.

Yep... and not just selling stuff either.  Just trying to meet someone in the personals will get you ads.  For me it's usually for super georgeous women who are desperate to meet me... when I see those types of e-mail responses, I pretty much know its bogus.  If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is...

I JUST started with craigslist. So far so good. Just only sell to people who are in your area so you can meet with them and dont have to worry about shipping. and only accept cash. then theres almost no worries and such. just make sure your not alone when you meet with the other person.

I've always been leary of selling on craigslist so I sell on Ebay...I've had a few people who have won auctions and never paid and I feel like you have more recourse if this happens on Ebay than on Craigslist. That also could be because I have more experience with ebay than Craigslist so I could be wrong. I honestly have no idea what you do if someone doesn't pay. I've had very good luck with eBay though so I would definitely recommend that website.

I have heard so many horror stories about Craig's List I don't think I would feel safe advertising there. A lot of people do but I don't think I will ever be one of them. :o :o :o

I have bought several things off of Craigslist, including a car and a couple of phones. I've also sold ipods and phones on there too. I just do my research on whoever responds to my postings. I would suggest be very careful though.
