do you have a date night?

Every so often, my spouse and I go out on a date night. sometimes with friends, sometimes by ourselves. it is always a good time

For the first 10 years of both my sons lives, I had only one date night with my husband. However on the one occasion we went out, all we could talk about was the kids, were they sleeping? were they alright? were they upset? .. so we didn't go on another for 10 years. Now they are 9 and 11, we go out for breakfast every two weeks and it is marvelous. We talk about everything other than the children!

We do go out on "date night" but not a scheduled one.  We usually go to a movie or just out to eat.

It is fun and we look forward to those dates...even after 40+ years of "dating"!!

I have been a widow for 20 years and sometimes I think it would be nice to have someone to have a date night with but it will happen if it is suppose to happen...in the mean time, I do have a best friend and her and I have set aside every wednesday to do what ever we want, which is usually lunch and stopping at the bar to shoot some pool...

I don't and maybe we should start doing that. I know my daughter has done that and she often tells me to have weekly dates with my husband. Up to today we haven't done it. Maybe someday soon.

When the kids were young we had a "date night" every Saturday.  The girls would sleep over at grandma's, which the loved, and we would have the night to ourselves.  Niw that we are alone, every night can be date night I guess.  We do go out to eat every Saturday night and then do something, go to the mall, go to movies, go to friend's houses, etc.
