Have you ever heard of a 1 year old that has NO toys -- I mean NO toys????

My neice is turning one on Thursday and we have to bring our own toys for my son to play with since they have NO toys --

needless to say I know what to get her for her birthday!

It is hard to see a child with no toys, but sometimes I feel like dozing my son's toys over the hill.  He has got way too many.

This is too sad to hear.  Why doesn't your niece have any toys?  Every child needs toys.  Its nice of you to  give her toys for her birthday.

she goes to grandma's a lot I think -- not sure if there are toys there for her.
we purchased some educational type toys - so she can learn her colors, shapes, etc as well as build her coordination.
I have a 2 year old and well he probably has more toys than he needs, but he is well ahead of his age group in developement and he was born 3 months premature!   (so I have nothing against his toys!)

Wow that's so sad my son has had toys, toys, toys from day one I mean wrist rattles in the hospital, toys to kick, toys with mirrors and lights I have never heard of a child with no toys, that makes me feel so bad.  What does she do all day? I just can't imagine.

No toys? That is just unimaginable!!! Every child needs toys, even if they are just educational ones. When my two were little they had toys everywhere, but I think they really perferred to play with boxes and pots and pans. Now that there are 3 grandkids there are toys everywhere, educational ones as well as babydolls and trucks!

I have never heard of a 1 year old without toys.  Mine is almost 2 and has quite a few toys and I am sure will be getting plenty more for Christmas.  I like the educational toys the best.
