I had carpal tunnel in both hands during the 80's due to cash handling at my job. This was up in Washington State.The first operation was botched by a really good doc, up on 'pill hill' in Seattle. Then of course you have to go back  Workmen comp and see if you can get it redone. Many years of pain involved, but got it redone, and my other hand by an Orthopedic surgeon that worked on athletes at U Of Idaho and WSU.

I understand the best work is done by lasers now.

it did come back for a bit in Florida, when had to do piece work because the computers were down.
Do Not go the seriod route, it only makes it worse in the long run.

First got it at 18 years old, then it stopped around 25. I haven't had any flare ups in years, until recently. Ugggh.
